Albi Commemorates 25 Years of Craftsmanship

2007 bodes a ‘Silver Lining’ for Albi Homes as we commemorate 25 years of building luxury homes in the City of Calgary.
Founded in 1982 by Tom Mauro, this award-winning company prides itself on the quality and craftsmanship of the homes we build. Arriving from Italy in his early years, Tom quickly learned his carpentry trade from his brother-in-law who taught him that the smallest details are what make a masterpiece. Building one home at a time, this principle soon developed into something greater – a company with shared values and vision.
In keeping with the Italian culture of its’ founder, the homes crafted by Albi portray a timeless architecture ensuring the finest details reflect the pride that the company was founded on. “Over the years as the company has grown, the quality of our product has remained at the top,” commented Tom Mauro, Founder and Chairman of Albi Homes. “When people build with Albi they expect excellence and that is exactly what we deliver….25 years of experienced workmanship. Giving back to the community has been a key foundation for the Albi family over the past 25 years, most notably spearheading two very successful Miracle Homes resulting in 100% of the proceeds going to the Children’s Hospital and YWCA’s Native Women Shelter. “We are so blessed to be living and working in a great community like Calgary,” says Debra Mauro, Co-Chairperson of Albi Homes. “Anytime we have an opportunity to make a difference, our team at Albi will be there to support those in need.”
While the years have seen many shifts in the home building industry, one thing that has remained a constant at Albi Homes is the level of commitment by our employees.
