Albi President Honored with George Frieser Award

The George Frieser Award was presented to Allan J. Klassen, President and Managing Partner of Albi Homes Ltd., at the Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Alberta’s Industry Leaders Awards breakfast which took place on September 23, 2007.
This annual award recognizes one outstanding recipient who has served the association and industry for several years at the highest of levels with an exceptional degree of success and commitment. The award is the highest award that is given out at the provincial level. “This is an amazing honor to be recognized.” commented Allan Klassen, “With the history of our industry and the legacy of so many before me, it is quite humbling.”
Over the years, Allan has played a very active role in the homebuilding industry as former President of the Calgary Region Home Builders’ Association in 2004/05 and President of the Canadian Home Builders Association – Alberta in 2005/06. Among his repertoire of achievements, Allan played a lead role in gaining local and provincial support of the One Voice – One Industry initiative which received a unanimous support in favour of implementation at the 2006 CHBA-Alberta AGM.
Allan was also recognized in 2004 as one of the 50 most influential people in Alberta by Alberta Venture Magazine.
