Winner of a 2008 CRHBA SAM Award for best new home design, our Bristol 7 home design in Auburn Bay is truly captivating. This bungalow home puts the master suite on its main floor and a bedroom in the basement, while the rest of the home features estate-level detailing and luxurious extras.
“The Bristol is classic Albi, it’s got a more ornate look to it with a lot of lacquered wood work, wainscoting, and a fireplace detailed with lacquered wood and a marble face,” says Albi Vice President Jason Mauro. “It’s extremely extravagant.”
The formal great room, done in shades of white, features grainy hardwood floors, a dramatic coffered ceiling, and sightlines to the stunning gourmet kitchen.

“The kitchen cabinetry is clear alder with a cottage white stain, and the island and tech centre has a cottage black stain for some contrast,” Mauro says. “It’s a stunning kitchen, with a massive pantry and built-in appliances, and it’s really got that Albi feel.”
As does the developed basement, where a granite-topped wet bar, maple-detailed wine cellar, exercise room and sitting area create an entertainment destination.
“The Bristol is a home we’ve built in different variations since 1990, so it’s our longest-standing plan,” Mauro says.
