Tom Mauro, Founder and Chairman of Albi Homes, immigrated from Italy in 1953, and in 1977 graduated from SAIT as a journeyman carpenter. He never would have guessed that in 2010 he would be honored as SAIT’s Distinguished Alumnus of the Year.
